FROM ONE GRIEVER TO ANOTHER…
I understand how scary it can feel to do this deep work. I truly do. I avoided my feelings in the beginning but I knew there had to be another way. When I joined a 12 week program 2 years after my dad died, everything changed. It was the first time I really began to understand my grief and it gave me a much more hopeful look at my future. It helped me transmute all that anger into purpose and passion.
This is what I want to do for you. I believe when we put in the work, that is where the real growth and transformation happens. My intention with coaching is to always meet you where you are on your journey. This road doesn’t have to be scary, so let’s lean into it together.
WHY WORK WITH ME
My approach is a combination of wisdom gained from my personal experience and my certification training. I have immersed myself in the grief space over the last decade, reading books, listening to experts, on top of processing my own grief. It has now become a language I feel quite fluent in.
I know how important and difficult those first few days, weeks, months, even years are. We have to feel that pain, we have to mourn for our person. We will always miss them, we will always grieve their loss. And then when you feel ready to do the deep work, to get yourself to that more peaceful place- that’s where I come in!
I have several different coaching offerings ranging from occasional check-in sessions, to six and twelve session packages. The intention is to get you unstuck and moving forward in some really healthy and holistic ways. I want to help lead you towards that lighter and more peaceful future. We will take our grief with us, but we will also make room for joy as well!
I have a whole lot of compassion and empathy, and I am here to listen, to guide, and to be your coach.

CLIENT LOVE
I was fortunate enough to connect with, and schedule recurring sessions with Nicole. It had been mere days after being told by a trusted friend, that I would be wise to reach out to her. To attempt to scratch the surface of the very thing that scares(ed) me most, was and still is, a feat in and of itself. Nicole would encourage me to believe my own words, and say them with my whole chest, always. Nicole could not have been there for me in all senses of my grief & personal trauma, more than she was and still continues to be.
Nicole is one of the safest and most trusted humans I’m privileged enough to have in my corner. She consistently encouraged light bulb moments in my inner psyche, and thoughtfully asked me thought provoking, life changing, difficult questions. To be uncomfortable yet have space held for you, is exactly what everyone grieving deserves, and what Nicole gave to me.
No one has ever made me feel like my mother’s death doesn’t entirely define me like Nicole has. No one has ever approached me about my mother’s death with the degree of eloquence, grace, patience, and respect, quite like Nicole has. She is supportive, she is willing to hold space for you, she is the exact grief coach we all need, or will eventually need in this life.
The gratitude I feel in my soul for Nicole Scimone is uncanny. If you find yourself wondering all of the various what-if’s, allow me to squash those apprehensions. You would almost certainly thank yourself after thanking Nicole, for showing up for you while simultaneously holding space for your grief with incandescently caring hands.
